Redmond's Blog #18 Well, my friends, it sure has been a long venture, and I am glad to record it all for any future businessman who is starting out their own company. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Here’s how I completed my business. I entered the Indigo League building, and inside is a healer and shop. A man explained that this is where Trainers challenge the Elite Four and Champion. Should I lose, I gotta start over. That’s the last thing I would think of doing. After healing my Pokémon team and getting enough supplies, I presented my badges to the lady guarding the entryway, she let me pass, and I went onward to the last challenge of a Pokemon Trainer. Here we go. The first Elite Four member I encounter is Lorelei, a young woman who serves as a part time model and an Ice type user for the Elite Four. She explains that the cold does wonders for those prepared to strengthen themselves, and she will show me how much. Lorelei’s Ice type Pokemon seemed tough, so I had Samuel show

Redmond's Blog #17 Where do I begin on this one? Might as well go with it. Bradley challenged me to a Pokemon Battle, but before I proceeded with it, Leaf speaks up wanting to fight Bradley first. Peter asks what for, and she replies that she wants to see how she compares to Bradley. My rival scoffs at this but is willing to comply as a means of showing how out of his league Leaf is. With that it is Leaf vs Bradley. Bradley sent out his Alakazam while Leaf sent out her Muk, Manapi. Bradley laughs at this, wondering why Leaf would put herself at a disadvantage of putting a Poison type against a Psychic type. Leaf then commands Manapi to use Flamethrower, which hit Alakazam pretty hard. Bradley seeing this complication recalls his Alakazam to switch out his Growlithe. It was Leaf's turn to laugh, stating that the first stage Pokemon wouldn't do much against a second stage Pokemon like Manapi. Peter and I exchanged worried looks, this isn't like Leaf to behave that way. Bradley

Redmond's Blog #16 I have started my Gym battle with Giovanni. Charlie and Lloyd have taken care of most of Giovanni's team, and he sent out his strongest Rhyhorn. With that, I sent out my secret partner, Duncan the Dragonite. Giovanni is shocked by this, for there's only one trainer in Kanto who has that Pokemon. I've been training pretty hard to get Duncan into his final form. We then proceeded with the final round. The Rhyhorn did hit pretty hard, but Duncan punched it with his Twister punch. This sent a shockwave so powerful, that Peter had to stable Leaf from that. Rhyhorn is down for the count, thus Duncan won the round and the match, and I won the battle. Giovanni is surprised, lamenting how he lost, then he congratulates me on my efforts. He gave me the Earth Badge which will allow me to challenge the Elite Four and the Champion, and the TM containing Earthquake, which he made during his time as Gym Leader of the Viridian Gym. Redmond's Blog #15 Okay, let's get down to business. Considering it's been a long while since I was home, I suggested we visit my mom and introduce her to Peter. He and Leaf are okay with that, and so we went to my house. Mom is overjoyed to see me and Leaf again, and Peter introduced himself and his partner Philip. As she was giving Philip a good rubbing on his head, Mom noted that we the B trio had been through a lot. See, when I make these blogs, I usually send them to my mom via email to explain how I am doing. That way she would worry less. Of course she was very worried when we were involved in dealing with Team Rocket, but she is relieved that we are fine. Mom would sometimes tell Professor Oak about my journey, and at one point he was disappointed that I bought Gwen off a scammer. But Mom stood up for me, stating that sometimes bad things have to be done for the greater good, she once did that a few times while coming to terms that everyone is capable of doing good and

Redmond's Blog #14 Okay, some unusual things happened along with a good thing. But before I get ahead of myself, there's something I want to address from the last blog. See, before Nolan's, retirement, and since he evolved, he's been hanging out with Natalie anytime me and Leaf went out to train. During that time they slowly developed an attraction to each other, though they were shy to admit as such. I can tell when he gets flustered just talking about it, and so does Leaf with Natalie. They could have made it official, had I not made that blunder with the biker's Weezing. So yeah, I'm beating myself over it, but not too much to distract me from what is currently happening, which is finding the girl. Me, Leaf and Peter got word that Lostelle went to Bond Bridge and hasn't left the Berry Forest, so off we went. Redmond's Blog #13 Leaf, Peter and I entered the Pokemon Mansion. We got word that the Cinnabar Gym is locked and that someone misplaced the key in the mansion, so we're gonna find it. The place is pretty huge, so we the B trio agreed to stick together as to not lose each other. As we wandered the halls and got to the floors, we noticed some metal doors won't open. A kid explained that a statue holds the clue to opening them, and we came across the said statue. It consists of a Pokemon standing on a box and preparing an attack. The thing is, I have no idea what sort of Pokemon it is and have never seen that kind before. Neither have Leaf and Peter. I then saw a button and when I pressed it, a sound is heard. We saw that the metal door is open while another closed. This seems to be the puzzle of getting through the mansion. Redmond's Blog #12 Sorry for the long delay. A lot has happened that I nearly forgot to record it. Here's the rundown. Me and Sabrina started our battle. She sent out her Kadabra and I sent out Charlie. Sabrina commented that she knew I would start with him, hence her psychic powers. Leaf called out to me to not be intimidated by her crazy predictions and just go all out, a part of what I'm relying on. I commanded Charlie to use Flamethrower on the battleground, so that Sabrina's Pokemon that have feet will be distracted by the fire to do anything. That took out the Kadabra in one blow. Sabrina is surprised by that, for no challenger took that advantage over her before. She then sent out Venomoth, and Charlie took it down. Sabrina sent out Mr. Mime, and Charlie had it dancing until it fainted. Yeah, while it was amusing to watch, to me it felt like it was wrong and dishonorable to to that kind of thing to an opponent.
